MirrorMan is an analogue delay effect, twisted in ways only Cave would dare!
We threw in a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), to enable vibrato and ‘tape stretch’ sounds within the warm sounding envelope that analogue delay does so well.
Then we added stacks of feedback depth to make the sound huge and give you the chance to go into fully self oscillating feedback territory. All the things they tell you a delay shouldn’t do, but you love it when you can.
Built around the Xvive MN3005 4096-stage BBD chip we didn’t chase ‘longest delay time’ stats (that’s the realm of digital/loopers these days). No, we went for WEIRD.
