'69
‘69 is a one knob transparent drive effect using a JFET mu-amp gain stage and a trick tone stage which creates the vintage glassy tones of guitar heroes from the 60s, 70s and up
Because it uses JFETs and there are no clipping diodes, it responds naturally to your guitar’s volume knob and your picking style
Why JFETs? The Junction Field Effect Transistor is a voltage controlled current device with very high input impedance. It behaves more like a triode vacuum valve (tube) than any other solid state device and is therefore ideal for guitar amplification duties, giving a more natural roll into overdrive without the need for clipping diodes, and cleaning up gradually as you roll down the volume knob on your guitar.
The one knob controls output level and adds a hint of dirt at higher settings
